Fishing licenses must be obtained before fishing. Can be purchased in Näshult's shop and from the Fishing Inspectors around the lake. Purchases by SMS or directly on the web are also fine. Special "Gold Cards" for all four lakes in the area can be purchased. The four lakes in addition to Serapasjön are; Nässjasjön, Vigotten and Sälgen. Fishing licenses only apply to hand fishing gear and during ice fishing in winter also to fishing rods. We recommend that caught fish are returned to the lake. We welcome catch reports on our website. Children under 16 years of age are welcome to fish.
