Fishing without a fishing license is prohibited, but young people under 16 years of age fish freely except in Bredsjön.
Catch restrictions: Max 3 trout per day/person may be caught in Husman Hemåstjärn, Lomtjärn, Lill-Skärsjön, Fiskhustjärn. In Bredsjön: A put-and-take lake with a special license, max 3 rainbows per license, max one license per day. Children under 10 years of age fish freely in the company of an adult with a license, but max 3 fish also applies to these.
Minimum size: In Klarälven the minimum size is 35 cm. for trout and grayling. In Höljan the minimum size is 35 cm. for grayling.
Fishing ban: Fishing for trout in running water is prohibited 1/9 - 30/11. All salmon fishing is prohibited.
Fishing with nets, otters, scissors and fishing tackle is only permitted for local residents.
Fishing from any form of vessel or float ring is prohibited in ponds where trout are found.
Trolling: When trolling for game fish (salmon, trout, rainbow trout, grayling) only one rod/person is permitted.
