General fishing rules for Annual and Daily passes
- Annual passes are valid until 31/12, i.e. the end of the year. - Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15, but not in Båtstasjön - see rules below. - A control fee is charged for violations of the fishing area's fishing rules. The control fee is 1000 SEK.
- The fishing pass is personal.

Fishing passes that are issued on paper must be carried and can be shown to a fishing inspector. A picture of the fishing pass is not accepted.
1. Annual passes and daily passes are valid for the entire fishing management area, also for "put-and-take" fishing in Båtstasjön - see rules below. 2. The pass is only valid for hand-held fishing. Only 1 rod per pass and person. No crayfish fishing, net fishing or outstanding gear. 3. The card is also valid for angling/ice fishing for pike, max. 10 fishing rods/anglers per card and person. 4. All fishing for trout is prohibited in flowing water between 1 September and 31 December, with the exception of the Dalälven. All fishing for grayling in flowing water is prohibited between 1 May and 1 June. 5. Fishing prohibited 100 meters upstream and downstream of power stations. 6. Fishing prohibited within 50 meters of fish farms in the river. 7. In the Dalälven, a maximum of 3 salmonids may be caught per day and fishing license. 8. Pike under 50 cm and over 70 cm must be released. 2 pike between 50-70 cm may be taken per day. 9. Fishing prohibited in the Water Park. 10. When trolling and trolling with a motor, a maximum of 2 rods are used. One fishing license per rod must be brought. 11. Fishing is prohibited in Bysjön during the spawning period for perch and pike, March 15-May 15.
12. Perch over 40 cm must be released.
13. Pike over 80 cm must be released, and a maximum of 5 pikes under 80 cm may be taken per day.
Fishing rules Båtstasjön
1. Fishing may be conducted with the following hand gear: spinning, reel, fly, and ice rod 2. Fishing may be conducted with a maximum of 2 rods per person. One fishing license per rod must be brought. 3. Children up to 12 years of age who fish with a parent fish for free on the parent's catch quota. 4. Fishing with fish fry is prohibited. 5. A maximum of 3 game fish (salmon) may be caught per card and day. 6. Fishing from boats and floats is prohibited
7. Fishing rods must be immediately accessible, within approximately 1 m of the fisherman. Rods left with bait must be taken out of the water.
