The card fishing area extends from Åsundsholm approx. 1.5 km south of Fästeredssundsbron to a line from Kallbadhuset to Prångens Camping in the north. Fishing in Ätran from the falls in Vist to Kallbadhuset, in streams and rivers and at all bathing areas is prohibited.

The card is valid for fishing with hand gear and trolling with a maximum of two rods per person and for ice fishing with a maximum of 10 angelfish or ice bait. Children under 16 years of age may fish for free with the same regulations as for card fishing. All pike-perch under 50cm and over 70cm must be released. A maximum of 3 pike-perch per day may be retained. Zander fishing at depths greater than 9m is not permitted. Zander fishing is prohibited from 15 May to 15 June. Zander fishing ban in certain protected areas from March 15 or ice breaking until June 15. Applies to all water north of a line between Åsastugan and the Boating Association's pier. All pike over 80 cm must be released. Minimum size for trout is 50 cm, release is recommended when the trout stock is under construction. All fishing and all fishing methods not specified above are prohibited. Anyone who fishes without a valid fishing license will be punished according to Swedish law. In case of violation of other rules, a control fee of at least 1000 SEK can be issued on the spot by a fishing inspector. Additional license for fishing with a maximum of 4 rod holders (only during the period September 1 - May 15)
