From 2021 we have introduced new fishing license prices and the fishing license is valid for all waters, including noble fish waters
The fishing license is personal and is valid for 1 rod per person and license.
Free fishing for children and young people up to and including 15 years of age only in the company of an adult who holds a valid fishing license (on their quota).
Minimum size: trout, char and grayling 30 cm. In Kvarnbäcken and Åkernäsbäcken the minimum size for trout is 25 cm and a maximum of 3 fish/day. In eastern Bredvattensjön you may keep a maximum of 2 perch with a length of less than 42 cm or 9 hg per license and day. The winter fishing ban in eastern Bredvattensjön is lifted on a trial basis for 3 years. After that, an evaluation will be carried out.
Catch limit to 1 pike/day. All pikes over 60 cm must be released. For pike fishing, a catch limit of 3 pike/day, at least 30 cm, applies.
Together with Hälla and Björksele FVO, we have set a catch limit of 1 pike/day. All pike over 60 cm must be released.
NOTE! Trout of 15 cm & 25 cm lengths have been stocked below Åsele power station. If you catch a fish with its fins clipped, report it and you will contribute to the development of fisheries management. You can call one of these numbers:
