From the ice breaking up until and including 20/6, there is a total fishing ban! (These times also apply in future years) This is because the fish should be allowed to play in peace and strengthen the growth of larger predatory fish.
The fishing license is valid for fishing with a fishing rod, casting rod or ice stick. Children under 15 years of age may fish in the company of a guardian who has a valid fishing license. Upon request, the card must be presented to a member of the Svinstadsjön fishing management area or its deputy (fishing inspector). The fishing license must always be carried by the holder when fishing. Violation of the rules for the fishing license means that the consent given will immediately cease to be valid and that the card holder will forever forfeit the opportunity to obtain such a permit within the association's area of operation. The annual license is valid for one year from the date of validity onwards. An annual license with a guest applies to the fishing license holder plus one guest. Fishing rules • Fishing licenses are personal and may not be transferred. Identification must be carried and presented upon request. • The fishing license entitles you to fish with hand gear. Hand gear includes casting/spinning rods, fishing rods and ice sticks. • Only one (1) rod per fishing license and person is permitted. Children under 15 years of age may fish in the company of a guardian who has a valid fishing license. • Fishing may only be conducted for personal use and NOT for sale.
The following is NOT permitted
• Trolling fishing with a motor, also applies to electric motors • Fishing using all types of echo sounders/scanners • Vertical fishing, including jigging, on open water • Ice fishing/fishing gear • Boating moorings of a permanent nature may not be used without the landowner's permission Restrictions on catch Max. 1 pike-perch/license and day. Minimum size pike-perch 45 cm.
