All waters within the fishery conservation area are available for fishing by card.
The Ormsjöorten fishery conservation area association administers the fishery conservation area and provides fishing permits. Fishing right holders and registered residents have the right to fish if they purchase a "Fiskerättsbevis" for 150 kronor, which is issued by the Ormsjöorten fishery conservation area association. This certificate is valid for the holder and their household. Others purchase a "Dyngskort" for 100 kronor or "Årskort" for 500 kronor.
24-hour passes and Årskorts are only valid for fishing with hand gear.
