It is your responsibility to read through these rules for fishing in Ulvstorpsjön if you are going to fish here! We have a number of supervisors who regularly check fishing licenses and that the rules are followed, the supervisors have the right to pull in and confiscate fishing licenses if the rules are not followed!
Fishing in Ulvstorpsjön may only take place when you have purchased a valid day or annual license in the lake.
Fishing may only be done with one rod. 1 fishing license = 1 fishing gear. Casting rod, fly rod, fishing rod and ice rod (fishing from ice) may be used. Fishing must be done actively, meaning that the rod must not be left unattended. When fishing, a baited hook may be used and fish caught while fishing may not be returned. Mashing is prohibited.
As a member of the fishing club, you fish for free from ice (ice).
The accessible pier is primarily for people with disabilities, please respect this. Other piers are primarily for fly fishermen.
Fishing from the so-called floating ring is permitted for fly fishing with a fly rod.
Two salmonid fish may be caught per calendar day and fishing license. With a day license you are entitled to catch and kill 2 salmonid fish per day, after which the fishing license is used up, you may not continue fishing until you have purchased a new fishing license! NOTE! These rules also apply to annual license holders! Other fish such as perch, roach, etc. may not be released.
When the fishing quota has been filled with killed fish, the fishing license is used up.
A new fishing license is required for continued fishing. This also applies to annual license holders.
Crayfish fishing is prohibited in the lake.
Disposable barbecues are prohibited. Grilling is only allowed with charcoal at the prepared grilling areas. After grilling, extinguish the charcoal with water!
All fishing and use of piers is at your own risk.
Violations of rules and fishing without a valid fishing license will be reported to the police and fishing gear will be confiscated and handed over to the police in Jönköping.
Children and young people have the opportunity to join as members of the youth section of the club. During the school season, we have gatherings for members of the section on Thursday evenings in our clubhouse. Fishing trips are also organized for them a number of times per year. The youth section has its own fishing water, Åsendammen, where only these are allowed to fish.
All work in and around the lake is done entirely on a voluntary basis by the section's members, and we protect the environment around the lake, which we believe is a little gem close to the urban environment that you can easily reach and enjoy the tranquility that can be found here. Therefore, we believe that everyone who fishes, grills and has a good time here,
Absolutely take the trash that was brought to the lake with them, and point this out to those individuals who do not understand this!!
