Fishing is permitted with hand tools, fishing rods, ice rods, or casting rods. A valid fishing license is required for fishing. The card is personal and must be presented upon request. The annual license is valid for the entire family with children up to 18 years of age. Respect the right of public access and do not pick up more fish than you need. The fishery management area has as a fishery management measure to thin out the pike population to benefit other species and therefore ensures that any caught pike are not released back into the wild.
