All fishing within the Ljungdalen fishery conservation area must be sustainable in the long term, for this reason there are general fishing rules and locally adapted regulations.
FISHING RULES
* Sport fishing is permitted in all waters within the Ljungdalen fishery conservation area during times specified in the association's fishing rules. * Sport fishing means fishing with a rod held in hand. * The fisherman is obliged to present a fishing license and identification upon request. * The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred. * Fishermen are obliged to ascertain the rules of the fishery conservation area. * One fishing rod per person. * Prohibition on net fishing. * Prohibition on fishing with otters with the exception that fishing right holders are allowed to fish with otters on Viksjön. * Prohibition on more than three (3) hooks on the line. * Prohibition of baiting with live bait fish. * Children up to 15 years of age fish for free when accompanied by an adult. * Annual pass with companion only applies to spouse/partner or one (1) child 16-20 years of age named on the fishing pass. * Prohibition of fishing from floating rings within the entire fishery management area. * Ljungdalens FVO applies a differentiated inspection fee.
SPECIAL RULES
* WINDOW CUT = 35 - 55 cm in all waters with the exception of small streams. - all fish under 35 cm must be returned. - all fish over 55 cm must be returned, * Max 4 fish per day * Only fly fishing in Skärkån from the highway bridge up to lower Skärvagen.
FISHING BAN
* Fishing ban 1/9 - 31/10 within Ljungdalens FVO with the exception of lower Skärvagen. * Fishing ban in Skärkån 15/5 - 15/6 (Harrlek) between the highway bridge and lower Skärvagen. * Fishing ban in Skärvagsån 15/5 - 15/6 (Harrlek) up to Öjönån.
