Applies only to fishing right holders and residents registered in the municipality of Leksand
- Minimum dimensions 10 cm from tail to tip of forehead
- The cages must be equipped with escape openings and if the cages are placed on a line, they must not be connected to other fishermen's gear.
- The cages must be marked with a red, orange, yellow, white fishing ball or flag and the fisherman's name7, if any property designation, address and telephone number.
- Fishing is permitted in the entire Siljan fishing conservation area with the exception of fairways and harbors and inlets/outlets to harbors where there is a strict FISHING PROHIBITION
- Unmarked cages can be seized and forfeited. If the fishing rules are not followed, even marked cages can be seized.
