Holjeåns FVOF

Holjeån

Blekinge län and Skåne län / Olofström and Bromölla municipality.

The area includes Holjeån from the inflows just north of Olofström to Ivösjön in the south and Lillån from Blistorpssjön - a distance of a total of about 25 km.

The water flows are regulated from Lake Immeln, which means that during dry periods and in the summer there can be occasional low flows.

At Östafors and at Forsagården just north of Näsum are the largest rapids. The area from Östafors and south is Natura 2000 area with some rare plant and animal species. Therefore, no tree clearing or other impact on nature takes place to facilitate fishing. Agriculture is conducted along the river, which also means that one must be careful when it comes to the impact on nature and crops. Avoid littering!

Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 14.

Holjeåns FVOF

The association was formed in 1990 and then consisted of 421 land and fishing water rights holders along the rivers.

The purpose is to promote fish supply and regulate fishing. The business focuses on measures that benefit the availability of stationary trout and sea trout.

Obstacles to migration are removed and biotope-improving measures are taken in the rapids. We invest large sums in this work and it is therefore important that the current fishing rules are followed!

Fisheries are supervised by authorized personnel.
