Tjurken and Kalven's fishery conservation area is located at the top of Vierydsån's water system. There is the opportunity for fishing in shallow, pristine lakes. The lakes are partly rocky and partly muddy. There are large areas with water lilies and some surface water vegetation such as reeds and reeds.
We attach great importance to the lakes feeling undisturbed and therefore there are not many prepared places around the lakes. Fishermen are welcome on natural conditions. Here you have the opportunity to fish in small pristine lakes and in addition to fishing get a wonderful nature experience. Respect signs and land.
The largest lake, Tjurken, is accessible via a forest road on the east side, see map, where you can also park. It is not possible to trail in your own boat, but smaller boats, kayaks or floats can be carried from the shore. Please note that we only allow electric motors in the lakes. The smaller lake Kalven is accessible on foot from the southern part of the lake, you can park a bit up by a forest road, see map.
The Tjurken-Kalven fisheries conservation area was formed in 2021 and consists of about 70 member properties in the border areas between Blekinge and Småland. The area includes the lakes Tjurken and Kalven and two smaller ponds.
The board works to provide a simple fishing with clear rules and great nature experiences.
