


Borlänge central FVO covers approximately 30 km of the Dalälven River from Torsång in the south to Gimsbärke in the north. It also includes the Grängshammarsån and Tunaån rivers, as well as around 40 lakes. The total water area is 900 ha.

Our waters
Our best sport fishing waters can be found in Dalälven, Tunaån, Grängshammarsån, Bysjön and Båtstasjön. Båtstasjön is our put-and-take water.
Transplantation
In Lake Båtstasjön, rainbow trout are being stocked from May until the end of the year. In River Tunaån, zander fry are being stocked.
Boat ramps
Boat ramps in the Dalälven River are located in Färjegårdarna, Norr Amsberg and Båtsta.
Docks for the disabled
At the rest area on the north side of Bysjön there is a jetty for people with reduced mobility.
At Tunaån, right next to RV70, there is a pier for the disabled.
Crayfishing
Crayfish fishing is only permitted for fishing rights holders.
Borlänge Municipality is transferring 100 fishing rights to people who are permanent residents of Borlänge Municipality. The cost for these fishing rights is 400 SEK.
Borlänge central FVO is an association of approximately 2,500 properties with fishing rights. The area covers 30 km of the Dalälven river from Torsång in the south to Gimsbärke in the north. It also includes the Grängshammarsån and Tunaån rivers and around 40 lakes. The total fishing water area is 900 ha.
At SSAB there is a protection area 200 m from the plant, which is delimited by the bridge at the motorway. Fishing in the protection area is not permitted according to a decision from the company.
