Borlänge central FVO covers about 30 km of Dalälven from Torsång in the south to Gimsbärke in the north. It also includes Grängshammarsån and Tunaån as well as about 40 lakes. The total water area is 900 ha. (See the map for detailed information about the area's borders.)
Our waters
Our best sport fishing waters can be found in Dalälven, Tunaån, Grängshammarsån, Bysjön and Båtstasjön. Båtstasjön is our put-and-take water.
Stocking
Rainbow trout are stocked in Båtstasjön from May until the end of the year. Pikeperch fry are stocked in Tunaån.
Boat ramps
Boat ramps in the Dalälven are located in Färjegårdarna, Norr Amsberg and Båtsta
Jetties for the disabled
At the rest area on the north side of Bysjön there is a jetty for the disabled.
At Tunaån just next to RV70 there is a jetty for the disabled.
Crayfish fishing
Crayfish fishing is only permitted for fishing right holders.
Borlänge Municipality transfers 100 fishing rights to people who are permanent residents of Borlänge Municipality. The cost for these fishing rights is 400 SEK.
