The area offers a varied range of fishing opportunities. Most waters are family-friendly and easily accessible.

Ljusnan flows through Vikarsjön and that is where you can catch the big fish (largest trout 7.3 kg, pike 11.5 kg). A gem is Tumsjön , which is located north of Hedeviken. In Näsbergstjärn there are trout and char, in Bergstjärn rainbow trout and perch. South of Hedeviken-Sörviken, on the road to Sånfjället National Park, are Rörsjön and Källsjön , as well as Valmen, which flows down Sånfjället.

Hedeviken is located between Hede and Vemdalen, by Lake Vikarsjön with magnificent views to the south towards the Sonfjälls massif.

Hedeviken's fishing area offers varied and well-managed fishing in lakes and running waters. Ljusnan which flows past the village is both a popular fly fishing area and canoeing water.
