The area offers a variety of fishing possibilities. Most water is family-friendly and easily accessible.

The lantern flows through Vikarsjön and this is where you get the big fish (largest trout 7.3 kg, pike 11.5 kg). A gem is Tumsjön which lies north of Hedeviken. In Näsbergstjärn there are trout and char, in Bergstjärn rainbow and perch. South of Hedeviken-Sörviken, on the road to the Sånfjället National Park, lies Rörsjön and Källsjön , as well as the Valmen that flows down Sånfjället.

Hedeviken is located between Hede and Vemdalen, by Lake Vikarsjön with magnificent views to the south towards the Sonfjälls massif.

Hedeviken's fishing area offers varied and well-managed fishing in lakes and running waters. Ljusnan which flows past the village is both a popular fly fishing area and canoeing water.
