Övre Fryksdalen

We have fishing water both in central parts of the community Torsby and out in the wilderness. The association manages Fryken, Ljusnan with lakes, Rattsjön, Manslidälven with lakes and Vägsjön.

Within the area there are trout, char, zander, pike, perch and many species of whitefish.

Övre Fryksdalens FVOF

We are a large fisheries conservation area in northern Värmland with Torsby as the main town. The waters are in the Norsälven water system. All our waters flow into Fryken . We have about 80 km of running water and about 20 lakes.

Maelötjärn opens for fishing on Christmas Day, December 25, with a joint start at 09.00.
