Borgärdets Sportfiskeklubb offers fishing in two areas: Area 1, Borgärdesströmmen - Fly fishing Area 2, Aven and parts of Seckan.

Borgärdesströmmen - Fly fishing (Area 1 = blue color on the map)
Area 1 extends from Lumshedsbron at the outlet of Svärdsjön along road 880 down to marked boundaries in Aven (see map).
Within this area, fishing may only be conducted with fly rods and barbless hooks. Within area 1, a limited number of day licenses can be purchased per day during the period 1 June to 31 August (for members, other times apply). For grayling, trout and other salmonids, "No kill" applies, which means that all fish of these species must be returned. For all fishing in this area, barbless (or clamped) hooks must be used.
The area is located close to central Svärdsjö where there is access to shops, restaurants, pharmacies, etc. If you do not have access to a car, you can reach the central parts of our fishing waters via public transport (bus) and a walk of 500 - 600 m.
