The Storån upper fishing area association covers the stretch of the Storån, from where the Nolån and Sörån join to form the Storån east of Rävlanda, up to and including the Gisslebäcken outlet in the Storån. That is, the border between the municipalities of Härryda and Mark. The area covers the part that lies in the municipality of Härryda.
On the stretch of the river where the river forms the municipal border, the fishing area association only covers the side that lies in the municipality of Härryda.
