Tranås Sportfiskeförening was formed in 1953. We are one of the associations around Lake Sommen that has an agreement with Sommens Fiskevårdsområde. The association has about 250 members. Most members fish in Lake Sommen. When purchasing a fishing license through Tranås Sportfiskeförening, you automatically become a member of the association. The fishing license is personal but also applies to husband, wife, cohabitant and children up to and including 17 years of age.
Within the association there is a section that engages in fly fishing. The fly fishing section leases Klanggölen, where only fly fishing is allowed. Klangen, as everyone usually says, is for the members and for those who have purchased a fishing license. Only rainbow trout are planted. There are no other fish in the pond.
