Tansen, Grycken, Varpan, Tisken mfl

The lakes Tansen, Grycken, Varpan and Tisken are included in the Varpan fishery conservation area, as are the Faluån and Rogsån rivers and a number of smaller watercourses.

Varpan's FVOF has two initiatives in 2026 to promote fishing in our waters.
Rent a rowing boat in Varpan 2026, we will come back with details.

Starter fishing packages for young people, we will distribute 30 packages in 2026.

Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 16.
Can fish on someone elses fishing permit (but the person does not need to be)

Varpans FVOF

Varpans fishing area is located in the heart of Falun World Heritage. The area includes the lakes Tansen, Grycken, Varpan, Tisken , Falunån, which flows through central Falun and several smaller lakes and streams.

We sell annual cards, weekly cards and day passes to the public, as well as fishing licenses to fish owners via iFiske.
