Welcome to Malingsbo-Kloten noble fishing! Malingsbo-Kloten is a large, scenic coniferous forest area in highland and hilly terrain, with scattered bog areas, lakes and streams that offer good opportunities for fishing and outdoor activities. The area is divided by three counties; Dalarna, Västmanland and Örebro. The easiest way to get here is via road 233 between Skinnskatteberg and Kopparberg. There is water here for both anglers and beginners and families. In ****Ädelfiskevatten Malingsbo-Kloten you can fish for planted trout and rainbow trout, but also natural stocks of trout and char. In Malingsbo-Klotens Naturvatten you fish for natural stocks of trout, pike and perch, while in Ädelfiskevatten Krampen you fish for planted rainbow trout.
Red, Pink, Purple & Green Waters
Our waters are divided by fishing method - fly fishing, spin fishing and angling. The different color markings on the map show our waters and where you can fish and what type of fishing license is required.
Red water (RB)
Spinning fishing, angling and fly fishing are allowed. In red water put-and-take fishing for planted rainbow trout is practiced.
(Fishing with traditional silicone or PVC-based PowerBait, such as pellets, tails, balls or larvae, is strictly prohibited in our waters.)
Red waters are Rågåstjärn, and Lilla Djurlången
In Lilla Djurlången it is permitted to practice traditional fly fishing from a float ring. By traditional fly fishing we mean. (Fly rod, fly line and down-covered hook). Our definition of a float ring is that it should be designed as a "traditional" float ring and be moved by paddling with your feet. If the float ring is moved with oars, it is considered a boat and is not permitted. Own boats, canoes or. SUP boards are not permitted in our game fishing lakes.
NOTE! The Långtjärnarna lakes have been removed from Ädelfiske Malingsbo - Kloten (red water) and are now included in Family Lakes (Orange water)
Pink water (RB)
In pink water only fly fishing is allowed, in Abborrtjärn, Mellantjärn and Lövtjärn for planted rainbow trout and in Hedströmmen's rainbow trout fishing (road 233- Nyhammar dammen). The stretch is open all year round and fishing is exclusively for rainbow trout. (NB! A maximum of 1 rainbow trout may be caught in Hedströmen)
FISHING BAN IN OUR GREEN, PURPLE AND YELLOW WATERS IN MALINGSBO-KLOTEN In order to protect our fishing waters with natural salmon stocks, a temporary fishing ban is being introduced within Sveaskog's nature conservation area in Malingsbo-Kloten.

Catch reporting
Report your catch here on iFiske's catch reporting page. With information about how you experience fishing and the fish that are caught or released, especially in Hedströmmen, but also from our other waters, we get a picture of what the fish population looks like and can adjust fish conservation measures and catch accordingly. Our ambition and hope is that you as a guest will continue to enjoy your fishing in our waters and come back. For other species (Put and take), reporting is desirable, but not obligatory.
Feel free to upload pictures from your fishing adventures when you report your catches on the catch reporting page on iFiske. It doesn't have to be of record fish, but of your experiences and beautiful nature pictures from our waters. We always indicate the photographer. We reserve the right to publish submitted pictures on iFiske's rolling picture collage.
NOTE! Everyone who reports their fish is entered into the draw for a day pass to our freshwater fishing waters in Malingsbo-Kloten and Krampen! Please write which waters you caught your fish in.
Other information
At Sveaskog's freshwater fishing lakes, we are actively working to provide a good fishing experience for those who choose to visit us and fish!
There are piers and jetties, some of which are also adapted for the disabled.
Sveaskog has prepared several parking spaces for mobile homes/caravans for this freshwater fishing in connection with these freshwater fishing lakes. For this, we as landowners charge a fee in the form of a fishing permit. The money from the sale of fishing permits goes back to the operation through the introduction of fish, garbage collection, cleaning and emptying of toilets in the area. Garbage cans and toilets should only be used by those who hold a valid fishing permit for the relevant freshwater fishing lake.
Please note that the right of public access does not apply to fishing and that as a visitor you must therefore purchase a valid fishing license in connection with setting up a caravan or motorhome at Sveaskog's noble fishing lakes!
If you just want to camp, there are many prepared rest areas available in the Malingsbo-Kloten area where it is possible to stay one night free of charge according to the right of public access. At these places you are responsible for your own garbage and latrines.
Burning/grilling is only permitted at designated burning areas. When a burning ban is in effect, all burning/grilling is prohibited.
