The area offers a varied range of fishing opportunities. Most waters are family-friendly and easily accessible.
Ljusnan flows through Vikarsjön and that is where you can catch the big fish (largest trout 7.3 kg, pike 11.5 kg). A gem is Tumsjön which is located north of Hedeviken. In Näsbergstjärn there are trout and char, in Bergstjärn rainbow trout and perch. South of Hedeviken-Sörviken, on the road to Sånfjället National Park, lie Rörsjön and Källsjön, as well as Valmen which flows down Sånfjället.
