Ringsjön consists of three different lake streams; Eastern Lake, Western Lake, Sätoftasjön where the Eastern Lake is the largest in terms of surface area and also the largest average depth, which is 6.1 m, with a total lake surface area of 3973 Ha. The maximum depth is 17.5, which is in Sätoftasjön.
Ringsjön is also known for its bream fishing. After there were problems with algae blooms at the beginning of this century, a reduction fishing was started, which has contributed to the visibility depth changing from 80 cm to 120 cm and significantly less algae blooms. Today it is a lake that has excellent pikeperch fishing, perch and of course the pike that lurks in the reeds.
