Värsjön

Värsjön is located in Northern Skåne, in Örkelljunga municipality, just 3 km from Skåne Värsjö. Fish includes perch, pike and roe, but also sutters and eels are found in the lake. The lake is shallow and stoney and has about 10 islands. There are several bays with some water vegetation and water lilies, while the rest of the lake offers open and relatively clear water as it is a spring lake. With some exceptions it is mostly difficult to reach the shore as it is far to the road, see the map. Fishing is best done by boat allthough one floating dock is available at the boat rental spot. Rental boats are available and can be booked via iFiske. As the lake is a protected nature area (by Swedish law), it is strictly forbidden to bring bait fish as well as own boat/canoe/ kayak/float or similar craft (see fishing rules).
