Grånssjön at Gagnef in Dalarna is a small lake of 3 hectares which is one of several small so-called ice pits which lie alongside the Österdalälven in Gagnef and Djurås.
The environment and nature around the lakes is fantastic and you almost feel transported to Tolkien's Lord of the Rings in the Hobbiton. In other words, made for long carp passes. Since neither inflows nor outflows exist, there are unique conditions in the waters which are supplied with new water through underground springs. The water is not humus-colored like many forest stars but clear with a characteristic muddy bottom and water lilies, nate and water lilies as the main vegetation, fish are easily seen if you use polarizing glasses e.g. the lake has served for all years as a sport fishing lake with a fairly good population of perch and pike as well as roach.
NOTE!
You only get a carp fishing license here, if you are going to fish for perch or spin fish for pike, the regular fishing license is in Gagnef-Mockfjärds FVOF which is also valid in Grånssjön.
