Rules for fishing in Unnen
The fishing license entitles to fishing with hand gear, trolling and with fishing gear for ice fishing, a maximum of 10 fishing gear per person.
The framework for leases of fishing within Unnen's FVOF is set in § 6 under rules for fishing in the association's statutes. These read as follows:
Section 6 The association shall grant fishing in the fisheries conservation area through the sale of fishing licenses to the public. Decisions on leasing may not contravene section 8 of the Fisheries Conservation Areas Act. The lease can refer to all fishing except crayfish fishing. The detailed terms for sale are decided annually at the Annual General Meeting.
At present, the association only grants hand gear fishing to the public. This also includes fishing gear (10 pcs).
Fishing license for hand gear fishing
The fishing license (lease agreement) entitles to fishing with hand gear, trolling and with fishing gear for ice fishing, a maximum of 10 fishing gear per person.
Fishing license for net fishing and longline fishing
The fishing license (lease agreement) does not apply to net fishing, longline fishing and crayfish fishing.
Those who hold a fishing license must follow the following regulations decided by the association: The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred.
The holder has the right to practice sport fishing with a cast rod and fly rod, trolling (Max 4 rods per boat), angling and pimping and 10 fishing rods on ice.
The holder of a family card has the right to bring family members. Young people under the age of 16 fish for free on the same terms without a card.
For pikeperch, a maximum size of 65 cm applies, all pikeperch under 65 cm must be included, but the maximum number is 10 pikeperch per fishing license and day.
For trout, a maximum of 2 pieces / fish per boat and day applies. A minimum size of 50 cm, all trout below 50 cm must unconditionally be re-released, regardless of condition.
For pike, a minimum size of 45 cm applies, fish below this size must be re-released. The maximum number of pike that may be retained is 2 per fishing license and day.
