Information and rules within Bruksvallarna's short fishing area.
- Catch limit applies to trout and char, maximum 4 fish per day and fisherman except Mittån and Ljusnan where it is 1 fish per day and person.
- Minimum size is 30 cm.
- A fly fishing stretch that is not quota is available on Ljusnan between Kyrkogården and about a kilometer downstream (fly fishing only).
- Quota fly fishing routes are available on Ljusnan and Mittån and have special cards.
- Fishing in summer with live bait (e.g. worm) is not allowed in most waters to reduce possible damage to fish that do not reach the minimum size. Registered members of Bruksvallarna have special rules regarding angling.
- Fishing ban in flowing water from September 15th to October 15th for spawning fish.
Rules for Mess Mortar Iron . Messmortjärn is Put-and-Take water and has a special card.
- Catch limit applies to trout and char, maximum 3 fish per day and fisherman.

- Fishing gear according to general regulations, i.e. Spinning, fly fishing, pimp fishing and angling are allowed.
- Info: Storbäcktjärn has not received new fish for several years due to a lack of hatchery fish.
Rules for Ljusnan and Mittån's quota fly fishing routes:
- Fly fishing only.
- From the suspension bridge at the Walles motocross track to the bridge at Jo-ersbygget.
- Max 6 fishermen per day.
- Only barb-free.
- Permission to take up one fish per day per angler but strive for catch and release for all fish. Window release: all fish under 30cm and over 40cm must be re-released
- In the event of a catch, we recommend that you keep the fish in the water as much as possible. (Preferably all the time). If you are going to take a picture, hold the fish in the belly and never the gills. Always wet your hands before handling the fish.
- We also recommend having a knot-free net to minimize damage to the fish's mucus layer.
- Fishing burden in all flowing water between 15th September and 15th October.
