Fishing rules for:
City card, Annual card, 2-week card and day card.
The fishing year applies from May 1 to April 30 of the following year. This fishing license entitles you to fish with hand gear and dragline with a maximum of two rods within the entire area. Young people fish freely up to the age of 16, exceptions:
Maeoltjärn and the Fryken card.
Spare small fish and return carefully with moistened hands if the fish is not to be eaten.
Owners of fishing rights also entitle them to fishing with a 60 m net and 1 fishing line within their home waters. All fishing with nets and lures is prohibited in running water and 300 m outside its inlet and outlet. This also applies to Bredvikgrundet. Nets, drift nets and flounder must be well marked with a buoy/sign with name and telephone number. Pike shears are prohibited for use within the entire area.

Crayfish fishing is prohibited in the entire area except Fryken between August 8 and August 31 max. 12 cages/fishing license per person or owner Local cards may only be purchased by residents or vacation homes within the fisheries management area. Address must be stated on the fishing license.
A separate fishing license is valid for trolling, ice fishing, vertical fishing and put and take Meyöltjärn.
The association charges an inspection fee of SEK 1,200 for violations of the rules.
