Fishing rules
● The fishing license entitles you to fish in Snärjebäcken, Ebbegärde.
● Fishermen undertake to show their fishing license, identification and all catch when requested by the fishing inspector. Also catch placed in vehicles.
● Fishing may be conducted from sunrise, but no earlier than 05.00, to sunset, but no later than 22.00
● Permitted fishing methods are spinning and fly fishing on designated and signposted routes
● Fly fishing with a casting float/casting hook is permitted IF the fishing is carried out actively. Fishing/stationary float is prohibited. Anglers must hold onto their gear/rod.
● Traditional angling and/or fishing with any kind of organic bait, such as powerbait, worm, maggots, shrimp or similar bait is prohibited
● Permitted catch quota per fishing license and fisherman is 2 salmon-type fish (Special rules apply to fishermen with annual licenses)
● When 2 salmon-type fish are landed, the fishing license is used up and fishing must stop. Continued Catch and Release is not allowed.
● Catch and Release is prohibited when fishing with more than 1 hook
● We strongly recommend fishing with barbless hooks
● When catching pike, the fisherman is asked not to release the fish back
● Prohibition against wading in Sböjen and on the stretch of stream.
● A child up to and including 14 years of age has the right to fish on an adult's card and fishing quota. However, only applies when the cardholder is present at the fishing and supervises the child.
● Violations of established rules will be punished and fishermen will lose their fishing rights regardless of the type of violation.
Littering is considered a violation of the rules.
● Kalmar Sportfishing Club reserves the right to change prices and rules during the current fishing season. Fishermen are therefore encouraged to keep up-to-date on current regulations.
