Fishing rules:
You who fish in ÖSFK's waters Drängsjön are responsible for informing you about the rules that apply and following them. See information boards and www.osfk.org. ÖSFK leases the fishing in Drängsjön from Österåker municipality and from a number of private water right holders. Certain rules are a condition for fishing in the lake to be conducted.
You as a fisherman must always be able to show on request that the current fishing license has been redeemed before fishing begins . Violation of fishing rules is prosecuted. All fishing is at your own risk. Children / young people under the age of 18 fish for free if they are members of ÖSFK or if the fishing takes place in the company of a paying adult.
In Drängsjön, the following special rules apply:
* Catch limit: Until further notice, a maximum of 1 salmon-like fish per fisherman / day / card applies. (NOTE! When the catch quota has been reached, fishing must be stopped. A new card may not be purchased until the time for the last purchased card has expired. Annual card holders may not buy another type of card in order to increase the catch quota.)
* Mandatory catch reporting.
* Max 1 gear per fisherman.
* Powerbait or equivalent and Tiger Shrimp is prohibited as bait.
* Mashing is not allowed.
* When fishing with a baited hook, only a single hook is allowed.
* Fishing with hangers is not allowed.
* Respect fishing limits and prohibited areas. Show consideration for other fishing, bathing and private property owners.
Land fishing is only allowed in the northern and eastern part of the lake. For the part of the lake where there is a land fishing ban, there is also a ban on fishing from a boat or from ice closer than 50 m from land.
* Boat fishing may only take place from the club's member boats (6 pcs). Floating, kayaking or other floating fabrics are not allowed in the lake. Motor (electricity or petrol) is not allowed (Member boats are available for members and booked separately via boka.se. Maximum 2 adults + 2 children under 15 years per boat.)
