Rules for Crab Fishing 2023
Crayfish fishing within Orsa FVOF is only allowed on weekends from the 2nd Friday 11/8 in August
to the 4th Sunday 24/9 in September.
It is forbidden to move crayfish from different waters, it spreads infection.
The bait in the cages must be from the same water where the cages are placed.
Max 6 cages per crayfish card. The cages must be marked with name and phone number.
The minimum measurement from the tip of the forehead to the tip of the tail is 10 cm.
The crab card is only sold to co-owners (fishing rights certificate) and residents written in Orsa.
Co-owners and City card, day pass SEK 80 and season pass SEK 300
The fishing license is only sold via ifiske.se It can only be purchased via the internet, not SMS.
Fishing allowed from Friday at 00.01 to Sunday at 23.59 weekends only.
The fishing license is valid from the day you buy it at 00.01-23.59
We would be grateful for fishing reports regarding the crayfish fishery.
ATTENTION! In case of violation of the fisheries protection area association's
rules, an inspection fee can be charged according to the law
(1981:533) on fisheries conservation areas.
