FISHING REGULATIONS
Permits for fishing within the Lagan - Skålån fisheries conservation area are obtained by purchasing a fishing license.
The validity period of the fishing license is stated on the card.
The fishing license must be presented upon request by a fishing inspector.
Anyone caught fishing without a fishing license will be reported for illegal fishing.
Anyone caught fishing with prohibited gear will be reported for illegal fishing.
The minimum size for pike-perch and trout is 40 cm. Fish that do not meet the minimum requirement must be released regardless of condition.
Trout caught between October 1 and December 31 must be immediately released.
Ice fishing is only permitted from ice, summer fishing is not permitted.
Persons caught fishing and violating fishing regulations will be charged
with a control fee of 500:-
RULES OF PROCEDURE
Park your car so that it does not block access to the river, woodland or fields.
Caravans and tents are referred to campsites.
Behave in such a way that you do not disturb those who live near the waters.
Plots or farmland may not be entered.
When there is a general fire ban, this also applies to fires within the fishery conservation area.
Avoid disturbing wildlife near the water. Be careful of plants.
Do not litter the environment with nylon ropes, stretch wraps, etc. According to Section 23 of the Nature Conservation Act, everyone must ensure that they do not litter the environment with glass, plastic, metal, paper, waste or other materials that could cause damage or inconvenience.
The task of the fishing inspectors is to keep the fishing in order. Their instructions must be respected and followed.
Fishermen who do not comply with applicable regulations or show obvious recklessness towards other fishermen may be banned from continuing fishing within the Lagan - Skålån fishing conservation area.
The fishing license is valid for fishing with an angling, spinning, reel and fly rod.

Only fishing with a rod and bait is permitted.
Fishing from all bridges is prohibited.
Fixed fishing is prohibited, as is nets and longlines.
The fishing license is valid as a family license (spouses with children under 18 years of age)
with a catch limit of two salmon per card per day.
The fishing license must be worn visibly.
The fishing license may not be transferred.
Other areas:
The fishing license is valid for fishing with an angling rod, spinning rod, reel, fly rod and ice rod. When trolling, two rods are allowed per boat.
Ice fishing is only permitted from ice, summer fishing is not permitted.
The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred.
Annual pass: Also valid for longline 100 hook + fishing tackle
Junior card: Young people can fish for free even if they turn 18. However, they are required to be able to prove their age.
Group fishing permits for fishing competitions, schools, companies and the like are sold by the board.
Fishing License Prices and Catch Limits
· Annual pass: 800:- Max 15 salmon fish/year and max 2/day
· Weekly pass: 500:- Max 5 salmon fish and 2/day
· Day pass: 150:- Max 2 salmon fish
· Group card/day: 800:- Max 10 people and 15 salmon fish
· Young people up to 18 years of age fish for free
