Provisions
Sport fishing may take place from land, boat or ice only within a marked area. Fishing is prohibited during the period 1 September to 31 October.
Only one gear brought from hand (spinning, spinning, fly, reel, pimp rod or long line) may be used.
A valid fishing license must always be carried when fishing and, upon request, presented to an authorized fishing supervisor or fishing right holder.
The fishing card is personal, but also applies to family members under the age of 15 who accompany the card holder.
It is forbidden to set out a hook or leave gear in the water.
Within the bird reserves, disembarking and staying is prohibited between April 15 and July 31. Exceptions are marked trails and observation points for bird watchers.
The minimum size for caught trout and char is 35 cm counted from the tip of the nose to the outermost tip of the tail fin.
Maximum catch per fishing license is 3 trout and 3 char per day.
Any catch of Canada trout must be killed.
