Rules for fishing in Göta River, Lilla Edet - Trollhättan

NOTE: The card is only valid for fishing in a limited part of the Göta River from Lilla-Edet above the dam (marked with buoys) to Trollhättan up to and including the suspension bridge and Slumpån up to Stångeforsen.
You must have a fishing license to fish. The code for the fishing license must be carried when fishing! Bring your mobile phone with the digital fishing license.
During fishing inspections, the fishing license code must be presented to the inspector without further prompting. Facilitate the inspection by stopping and picking up your gear. Young people under the age of 15 do not need to obtain a fishing license.


Allowed gear: Spinning, fishing, jigging, fly fishing and boat fishing.
- Max 2 tools / person.
- Max 2 salmon fish / day.

- Minimum size for salmon, trout and pike-perch 45 cm.
- Please note the closed season for Salmon and Trout, October 15 - March 31.
- Eels are protected all year round.
