Fishing rules
§1. In order to be allowed to fish within Storsjön & Vätternsjöarna's fishery conservation area, the fisherman must hold a valid fishing license or fishing license. Free fishing applies to children under 15 years.
§2 . Fishing licenses and fishing license certificates must be carried when fishing and at the request of the police or fisheries inspector presented. Valid identification must be brought to prove the identity of the fisherman.
§3. Solving a fishing license entitles you to fishing with 1 hand gear, 2 roach huts, 15 fishing rods or 12 stand hooks. When trolling, only one rod per card may be used.
§4. Fishing with nets and pike shears is prohibited in the entire fisheries conservation area. Fishing rights holders may fish with 2 nets (60 meters) on their own fishing water.
§5. The minimum size for pikeperch and trout is 40 cm. Substandard fish must be returned dead or alive.
§6. Catches must be presented at the request of a supervisor or the police.
§7. Fishing may only take place for one's own housing needs.
§8 . Outstanding gear must be marked with the fisherman's name and telephone number.
§9. Throughout the year, fishing is prohibited in Darsbobäcken, in Hedströmmen between Upper and Lower Vättern, and 100 meters from the mouth of Hedströmmen in Lower Vättern. Fishing ban applies 100 meters from the mouth of Gerån and Darsbobäcken during the period 1 September to 31 December.
§10. Crayfishing is prohibited.
