This fishing license for Section 7 can and may only be redeemed by members of Asby-Torpa sportfishing club and must always be purchased in connection with paying the membership.
In addition to national fishing regulations, the regulations below apply to fishing within the Sommens Fishing Management Area from and including 2023-01-01. Sportfishing in the lake requires a fishing license , which is personal.
Fishing may not be conducted closer than 50 meters from the jetty or site, nor in the vicinity of exposed nets or gear.
Young people up to the age of 15 are allowed to fish without a fishing license, but with the same regulations that apply to the lake.
Fishing for trout and char is permitted from January 1 to September 15 in the entire lake. If any of these species are caught during the conservation period, the fish must be released back into the lake regardless of condition. Fish that are returned to the lake must be monitored until they have left the water surface.
During the period 16 September-31 December, all fishing is prohibited within conservation areas 1-5.
All fishing is prohibited during the period 15 April to 15 May on Norwegian playgrounds as marked on the map.
Note the new conservation area with a total fishing ban at the outlet of Svartån and Bulsjöån.

The fishing referred to is angling, pimp, casting rod, fly rod and drag. Maximum two tackles (lines or lures) per card. When trawling after a boat, maximum two fishing lures.
When fishing, you must not use hook gear that is adapted to snatch the fish. Surface otter fishing, lead otter fishing and surface otter fishing with planer boards not permitted.
Vertical fishing with sonar not allowed east of Torpön.
West of Torpön, vertical fishing is allowed at a maximum depth of 10 metres. Four ice fishing rods per fishing license are allowed in the western part of the lake, restriction Ferry terminal - Torpö bridge.
This allows the right to fish with a deep rig or a fishing rod. A maximum of 6 fishing lures may be used simultaneously per boat. 1 person per boat engaged in trolling fishing must have a trolling fishing license and the others must each have their own valid fishing license. We recommend a single hook when trolling to minimize damage to exposed fish.
Catch reporting must be done by water rights owners, fishing lessees and anglers annually to the Fisheries Management Area via iFiske's routines.
Sommen's Fisheries Management Area charges a control fee for violations of the above regulations.

By redeeming a fishing license, you actively contribute to the care of the lake and its fish stocks. With your behavior in nature and on the lake's clean water, you decide for yourself how pleasant the environment should be. Keep nature clean. Be careful with FIRE.
