Common rules for Lake Landösjön, part of Långan, part of Åkerån

• Fishing license must have the fisherman's name written on it and the holder must be able to provide identification.
• Fishing licenses may not be transferred.
• Only one fishing license/day may be purchased.
• If fishermen are caught without a valid fishing license, a police report is made, and the fisherman is rejected from the area.
• Fishermen with fishing licenses who have violated given rules must pay a fee of SEK 1,000 and be rejected from the area.
• Cigarette butts, portion packs of snus must not be left in nature, but must be taken care of by the user.
• All littering prohibited.
• Prohibited areas at the fish farm and at the inlet and outlet of the lake, including the channel between the dam down to Djupedan.
• Fishing is done at your own risk.
• Children under 16 fish for free but only in the company of a guardian/adult/person who has a valid fishing license (on their quota).

Långan and Åkerån (within FVO area)

• Opening hours 1 June to 31 August.
• Max. 2 fish/day pass.
• Fish between 35 and 50 cm may be caught. All others are re-exposed regardless of possible damage.
• Only single hooks may be used, without barbs or with bunched barbs.
• Long baits allowed.
• One hand-held rod allowed.
• Mashing not allowed.
• Rotational fishing must take place, i.e. do not stay in the same place for a long time.
• If the water temperature exceeds 18 degrees C, fishing is temporarily closed.

Lake Landösjön

• The winter fishing opening hours are governed by the ice condition, but are indicated on the website.
• Summer fishing open 1 June – 31 August.
• Max 5 fish/day card (applies to trout, char, grayling).
• Minimum size 35 cm - smaller fish are released regardless of damage (applies to trout, char, grayling).
• Permitted lures: pimpel rod, pike and maximum two hangers. Fly, drag, long drag, hook, spinner.
• Allowed baits: Bait paste, maggot and worm
• Only a hand-held rod
• Mashing not allowed
• Gear and fishing tents must not be left on the ice when the day's fishing ends
• Drills over 20 cm should not be used.
• Boats from waters other than Lake Landösjön are prohibited due to the risk of infection
• Boats are available for rent

As far as possible, use electric boat motors. If an internal combustion boat engine is used, acrylate gasoline must be used.
Boats from waters other than Lake Landösjön are prohibited. Boats are available for rent. For residents around the lake who use their own boats, these must be numbered (Jan Engstedt for list).
