• Fishing license is personal (guest license excluded) Only one license per person and fishing opportunity is valid. During checks, fishermen are obliged to show identification. Fishing licenses can be revoked in the event of a misdemeanor. A fisherman who breaks the rules can be fined an inspection fee of SEK 2,000.
• Protected zones: To protect the walleye, there are protected zones, see map ! Storgrundet on Västerfjärden and the area north of Gösholmen on Körnikan are totally protected for fishing all year round. Västergrundet and Skravelharen-Flygargrundet on Västerfjärden are protected from ice drift - 30 June. Note that the map function shows where you are and where protected areas are located. In summer, the areas are marked with buoys.
• Fishing from a boat is not permitted within the no-net zone in Gavelhytteviken from ice break-up until June 30. Fishing ban in the fairway at Bångs klaffbro and at the Segelsällskapet's harbors in Stenbryggan & Trebo.
• Catch limit 2 Goose per day and person. 2 pike per day per person.
• Minimum dimensions: Height 45 cm.
• Maximum dimensions: Goose 65 cm, Pike 75 cm. Handle the fish carefully!
• All gear must be marked with a clearly visible orange fishing ball (or equivalent) with a diameter of at least 23 cm. Gear must be marked with the applicable fishing license number/fishing license number, name & telephone number.
• Side screens are not permitted.
• Crayfish fishing is prohibited all year round.
• Ban on selling catch.
• Separate rules apply to owners of fishing rights.
• Youth up to 16 years of age fish for free with Hand gear/trolling 1 rod.
• Boat fishing license: Hand gear/trolling max 2 rods, angling/ice fishing max 10 gear, hand gear from land 2 rods and 1 jig.
• Hand tackle from land applies to 1 rod and pimp fishing 1 rod.
• For Annual Passes with Guest Passes, it allows one guest to fish with hand gear/trolling/pimple with 1 rod. The guest may take up the corresponding catch as a holder of an annual pass. (see catch limit)
• Fishing competitions must be notified in good time and approved before they are carried out.
