Generally:
Permitted fishing waters are shown on our fishing map.
At the southern border of the fishing water towards another water owner, there are "fishing limit" signs posted. For fisheries conservation purposes, fishing bans apply, which are reported further down.
ATTENTION! By law, all fishing gear that is left unattended must be marked with the owner's name and fishing license number.
The annual fishing license is valid for 365 days, 1 year is sold for SEK 400.
Special fishing license for trolling fishing for 365 days 1 year is sold for SEK 400.

Fishing ban:
For fisheries conservation purposes, the following fishing bans apply.
Marking of nets and fixed gear.
Displayed fishing gear must be marked with the owner's name and fishing license/fishing license number, and be marked with at least a 15 cm round ball in red-orange-yellow or white.
Nets/fixed gear for pike - perch - zander must not have a mesh size smaller than 50 mm Does not apply to stream nets and streamers.
Unmarked fishing gear or nets with too small a mesh size found in the association's waters are picked up by the fishing supervisor and handed over to the police.

Fishing season:
1. Total ban on all net fishing and fishing with fixed gear as well as Trolling fishing in the association's waters
April 1 - May 15
2. Annual ban on all fishing with nets and fixed gear 75 meters north and 75 meters south of Karöbron at Karöström
3. Annual ban on all fishing in Gåsviken between the Krutuds bridge and the bridge at Orhrålet Klackskär.

Methods:
The fishing license grants the right to fish with two nets, a total of approx. 60 m length 50 mm between the knots, ice nets with several rods, angling 10 hooks, long line 100 hooks, and drag rowing.
Trolling
For practicing so-called trolling fishing, a special trolling fishing license is required.
The card allows trolling fishing with the simultaneous use of a maximum of 2 fishing rods.

Catch Limits:
Minimum dimensions.
According to the Norwegian Fisheries Agency's statutory compilation FIFS 1993:31, the following minimum dimensions apply to fish that may be taken.
Minimum dimensions:
Length 45 cm
Pike 45 cm
A maximum of 3 fish over 45 cm may be taken/day.
NOTE, all eel fishing is prohibited.
