Junior fishing licenses are free and valid until the year the holder turns 18
All fishing upstream of the road bridge (road 140) and in Paviken has been prohibited since 2018. The ban applies all year round.
A valid fishing license is required for all fishing.
The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred.
Annual pass is valid for 365 days from the date of purchase and is valid for one person.
The card must always be available when fishing and must be presented during inspection.
Contents of bags, pouches and rucksacks must be shown on request.
Violations of the rules of the fishing license can lead to confiscated equipment and fines.

Methods
Only rod fishing with one rod at a time is allowed.
Fishing with nets, nets, seines or other mass-catching gear as well as jerk fishing is prohibited.

Catch Limits
All pikes and all trout must be re-released, all year round.
Any caught pike or trout must be handled as gently as possible, if possible without being lifted out of the water, and released immediately.
1/3-31/5 all perch must be released back.
At other times, a maximum catch of 3 perches under 30 cm per fisherman per day applies.
All perches exceeding 30 cm must be restocked.

Other rules
If a caught fish is to be weighed, use a wet bag, such as a weighing bag or plastic bag.
The fish you are bringing home must be euthanized immediately and must not be subjected to unnecessary suffering.
