The card is personal and valid for sport fishing with hand gear, which means active sport fishing with a rod, and a maximum of 3 hooks. Double license applies with SveaSkog's fishing license in Umeälven between Bålforsen and the border with Vindeln municipality.

Net fishing may NOT be conducted in the waters where fish are released and these are Skovelträsket, Storbacksjön and Hällforsmagasinet.
Catch Limits:
A maximum of 5 fish of trout and grayling may be taken per card and day.
Only trout over 40 cm and grayling over 35 cm may be kept.
Other rules:
Smaller fish must be released regardless of condition. Do as follows:
Wet your hands before carefully unhooking the fish you are releasing. Never leave hooks and lines in nature.
Fish at a respectable distance between each other. Show consideration - respect the rules.

- Small iron
- Ground tar
- Ettaberg star
- Longtjärn
- Goosebumps
- Tannberget 1:4
- Old town star

Marked fish can be recognized by a light green plastic tag attached under the dorsal fin (follow the instructions on the plastic tag) or the adipose fin has been removed.
The adipose fin sits between the fish's dorsal fin and tail fin.
