Bäsingen's FVOF – General rules
(2023-06-01, rev B)

1. A valid fishing license is required for fishing in Bäsingen's fisheries management area (exceptions see rule 14).

2. A fisherman who breaks the rules can be fined with a control fee:
- Valid fishing license missing = > Inspection fee SEK 500
- Fishing in violation of other rules (3-19) for the conduct of fishing = > Inspection fee SEK 300

3. The fishing card is personal and only one card per person and fishing opportunity is valid. During checks, fishermen are obliged to show identification. Fishing licenses can also be revoked in the event of a misdemeanor.

4. Weekly pass is valid for a sequence of seven weekdays / Annual pass is valid for one calendar year.

5. It is absolutely forbidden to throw away fishing lines, hooks or other waste within the fisheries management area.

6. Cost fishing license:
- Weekly pass SEK 100
- Annual pass SEK 200

7. When fishing in the Dalälven, fishing is prohibited 200 meters downstream of the Lillforsen power plant and 200 meters upstream of the Näs power plant.

8. Waters excluded from fishing:
Ösjön, Torpsjön, Skidtjärnen and Lilla Halsjön.

9. Scissor fishing is prohibited.

10. Crayfish fishing may only be conducted by fishing right owners and then within their own estate.

11. Hand gear/ trolling: Max 2 rods

12. Ice fishing/angling:
- NOT eligible with weekly pass.
- Annual pass entitles you to fishing with a maximum of 12 gear.

13. Roach Hut:
- NOT eligible with weekly pass.
- Annual pass entitles you to fishing with a roach cabin.
The roach cabin must be clearly marked above the water surface/ice. The marking must also be marked with the fishing license number and name.

14. Free fishing:
Young people up to and including 15 years of age fish for free when angling from land with a top-knotted line, as well as when flounder fishing on ice.

15. Catch limit: Maximum of 3 walleyes per day.

16. Minimum dimensions:
Goose 40 cm / Trout 40 cm / Grayling 35 cm

17. Maximum dimensions: Gos 70 cm

18. Special rules apply to owners of fishing rights.
