One fishing license per person is issued to:
- The fishing rights owner
- The fishing right owner's spouse or common-law partner
- Children of the fishing rights owner in the first generation (not to the child's spouse, common-law partner, grandchildren, etc.)
- Legal person - for a legal person, a fishing right certificate is issued to a person that the legal person states shall have the right to the fishing right owner's fishing right. Such person must have an employment relationship with the legal entity (NOTE! this proof can only be resolved by payment to a bank giro, not digitally)
Exceptions apply to estates when only a fishing right certificate is issued. Thus, only one deceased co-owner at a time can use the fishing right.
The fishing right owner who holds a fishing right certificate within the Baltic Sea Region may fish with hand gear within the entire Baltic Sea Region. Correspondingly, fishing rights owners who own or are co-owners within the Tänndalssjödelen are allowed to fish with hand gear within the entire Tänndalssjödelen. Otherwise, the fishing right owner may only fish in waters where they have fishing rights.
For caught trout, char and grayling, the minimum size is 35 cm. Max 4 fish per day. The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred. It must be carried when fishing and presented at the request of a fishing supervisor. When you buy a fishing license, you agree to the conditions for fishing. Special cards and other rules apply to the fly fishing routes
