General fishing rules for Annual and Day passes
- Annual pass is valid until 31/12, i.e. the end of the year.
- Day pass is valid for 12 hours from the recorded time
- Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15, but not in Båtstasjön - see rules below.
- For violations of the fishing area's fishing rules, a control fee is charged. The inspection fee is SEK 1,000.

1. Annual passes and day passes apply to all lakes and watercourses except Stora Länsan where special regulations apply - see grants at the lake. Annual passes and day passes are also valid for "put-and-take" fishing in Båtstasjön - see rules below.
2. The card is only valid for hand gear fishing. Only 1 rod per card per person. No crayfish fishing, net fishing or outstanding gear.
3. The card is also valid for angling/fishing for pike, max. 10 fishing rods/rods per card and person.
4. All fishing for trout is prohibited in flowing water during the period 1 September - 31 December, with the exception of the Dalälven. All fishing for grayling in flowing water is prohibited between May 1 and June 1.
5. Fishing ban 100 meters upstream and downstream of power stations.
6. Prohibition on fishing within 50 meters of Slott's fish farm in the river at Ängesgårdarna.
7. In the Dalälven, a maximum of 3 salmon per day and fishing license may be caught.
8. Shrubs under 50 cm and over 70 cm must be put back. 2 walleyes between 50-70 cm may be taken per day.
9. Fishing ban in Tjärnasjön and the Water Park.
10. When rowing and trolling with a motor, max. 2 rods are used. One fishing license per rod must be carried.
11. Fishing ban in Bysjön during the spawning season for perch and pike, March 15-April 30.

12. Perch over 40 cm must be put back.

13. Pikes over 80 cm must be put back, and a maximum of 5 pikes under 80 cm may be taken up per day.

Fishing rules Båtstasjön
1. Fishing may be carried out with the following hand gear: spinning, reeling, fishing rod, fly rod and pimpel rod
2. Fishing may be conducted with max. 2 rods per person. One fishing license per rod must be carried.
3. Children up to 12 years of age who fish together with a parent fish for free on the parent's catch quota.
4. Fishing with fish fry is prohibited.
5. A maximum of 3 noble fish (salmon fish) may be caught per card and day.
6. Fishing from boats and floats is prohibited
