FISHING REGULATIONS
Permits for fishing within the Act - Skålån's fishing management area are obtained by redeeming a fishing license.
The validity period of the fishing license is indicated on the card.
The fishing license must be presented at the request of the fishing supervisor.
A person caught fishing without a fishing license will be reported for illegal fishing.
A person caught fishing with prohibited gear will be reported for illegal fishing.
The applicable minimum size for zander and trout is 40 cm. Fish that do not meet the minimum requirement must be re-released, regardless of condition.
Trout caught between October 1 and December 31 must be released immediately.
Angling is only allowed from ice, summer angling is not allowed.  

Persons caught fishing and violating fishing regulations will be fined
with an inspection fee of SEK 500

RULES OF ORDER
Park your car so that it does not block slopes to the river, woodland or field.
Caravans and tents are directed to campsites.
Behave in such a way that you do not disturb those who live near the waters.
Plots or arable land may not be entered.
When there is a general ban on burning, this also applies to burning within the fishery conservation area.
Avoid disturbing wildlife near the waters. Be careful about plants.
Do not litter nature with nylon ropes, tow packs and the like. According to § 23 of the Nature Conservation Act, everyone must ensure that he does not litter the nature with glass, plastic, tin, paper, waste or anything else that could cause damage or disturbance.
The task of the fishing inspectors is to keep the fishing in order. Their instructions must be respected and followed.
Fishermen who do not comply with the current regulations or show obvious recklessness towards other fishermen may be banned from further fishing within the Lagan - Skålån fisheries management area.
The fishing license is valid for fishing with fishing rods, spinners, reels and fly rods.

Only fishing with a rod and a bait is allowed.
Fishing from all bridges is prohibited.
Fixed fish are prohibited, also applies to nets and longlines.
The fishing license is valid as a family license (spouses with children under 18)
with a catch limit of two salmon per card per day.
The fishing license must be worn visibly.
The fishing license may not be transferred

Other areas:
The fishing license is valid for fishing with fishing rod, spinner, reel, fly and rod. When trolling, two rods are allowed per boat.
Angling is only allowed from ice, summer angling is not allowed.
The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred.
Annual pass: Also valid for longline 100 hook + angeldon
Junior card: Young people can fish for free even in the year they turn 18. However, they are required to be able to prove their age.
Group fishing licenses for fishing competitions, schools, companies and the like are sold by the board.
Fishing license prices and catch limit

· Annual pass: SEK 600 Valid for longline + angler Max 15 salmon/year and max 2/day

· Weekly card: SEK 300 Max. 5 salmon fish and 2/day

· Day pass: SEK 100 Max. 2 salmon fish
· Group card/day: SEK 500 Max. 10 people and 15 salmon fish
· Young people up to the age of 18 fish for free
