Rules for Fishing on Nedre Rudan ALL FISHING PROHIBITED WITHOUT A VALID FISHING LICENSE

A total fishing ban applies to the entire lake from 16/11 to 31/12 each year. If you are caught, you must report to the police about: Illegal Fishing!

Fishing license must always be carried with you and the receipt when purchasing a 24-hour license in a shop, and ALWAYS presented to a fishing supervisor on request. The supervisor has the right to also request proof of identity during the inspection.

All fishing is done at your own risk, ALL FISHING LICENSES ARE PERSONAL.

Spinning + Fly fishing + Pimple fishing is allowed.

When using Kastdobb / Bombarda the following applies:
Is only allowed with a fly and single hook or spinner, spoon drag, jig, wobbler,
NOT with bait of the type: worm / shrimp or similar.

IF you are going to fish, it is only allowed if it is top knotted at surface & bottom fishing. ( = the rope tied in the top loop, NOT from the reel/Spool.)

When angling, the rod may be a maximum of 5 meters.

One fishing rod per person and card. Maximum three single hooks or one triple hook. More purchased fishing licenses do not entitle you to use more fishing rods

It is allowed to keep three salmon-type fish/day pass, i.e. rainbow trout, char or trout.

It is allowed to release fish, noble fish or whitefish, provided that the fish is COMPLETELY unharmed. and only when using a barbless single hook (the fish must NOT bleed or be damaged in any way) In such cases, the fish must be loosened in the water carefully with a long-handled peang. It is absolutely forbidden to fish for carp or to catch or kill carp and these must always be released again if caught on the hook. It is absolutely forbidden to fish for crayfish

Power Bait and all similar artificial baits are prohibited. Perfume is also NOT allowed. (*Only organic baits are allowed such as worm, shrimp, rum, maggots, corn)

Floating is allowed only with leg power. Floating with oars, inflatable boats, canoes, boats is prohibited. Boats only permitted for the Municipality and the County Administrative Board or blue lights.

The piers are primarily for fly fishermen and secondarily also other fishermen.

ATTENTION !! There is a fishing ban from June 1 to August 31 on the beach in the northern part of the lake, and the entire wooden strip next to the beach.

1 adult + 2 children/youths under 19 may fish together on a 24-hour ticket and 2 children/youths under 19 may fish together on a 24-hour ticket.

Violating the club's rules entitles the fishing supervisor to invalidate the fishing license.
