Lakes Fishing allowed from premiere in March, announced separately until last September. Boat fishing and floating are prohibited in the lakes. A maximum of three fish per day may be taken per card. Fishing may take place with a maximum of one gear at a time.

On the day of the premiere, only day passes are sold.

In Älvarna the following applies: Minimum size Salmon 50 cm, Grayling 35 cm, Trout 30-45 cm. Trout of less than 30 cm and more than 45 cm must be re-released into watercourses.

Fishing with hand gear (spinning, fly rod, jig or similar) When fishing with hand gear is allowed, you can catch and keep a maximum of 1 salmon and 1 trout per fishing and day.

Fishing with otters and similar gear is prohibited, and fishing with a trailer or cast line on which more than 3 hooks are attached is prohibited.

Closing times Fishing for trout is prohibited from 1 September until 14 October.

Fishing for salmon is allowed in Kalixälv and Tärendö river. However, not during the period from 1 September to 31 December.

Fishing for grayling is prohibited from 15 April to 31 May.
