Generally:
The fishing license is personal and must bear your name and specified date of validity. On request, you must be able to show your fishing license and also be able to identify yourself. The fishing license must always be carried when fishing.
We do not replace lost cards.

Children under the age of 16 fish in the company of an adult, provided they have a valid card, without a special fee, but the catch limit of two salmon-type fish applies per card.

Methods:
A fishing license = a hand tool. Hand gear means a rod equipped with a line and a maximum of three hooks.
In natural waters, you may use ten anglers per fishing license (pike scissors are not permitted). Fishing with otters or nets is prohibited. You may use a float ring when fishing with hand gear in natural waters unless otherwise specified.

Catch Limits:
Two salmon-type fish are valid per card.
Crayfish must not be caught.

Other rules:
Please note that no mooring of boats may take place at the water's edge.
Fishing without a valid fishing license is an offense and will be reported to the police. The supervisor has the right to confiscate equipment in the event of a violation of the law or suspicion of an attempted violation of the law.

You yourself are obliged to check what applies before you start fishing. The County Administrative Board can give notice (www.lst.se). Changes or additions to rules and instructions can be made during the current season. Other fishing legislation applies in addition to these rules.
