Fishing caught without a fishing license may result in a control fee of 1,500:-
Nets and nets must be marked with the owner's name.

Crayfish fishing in Åman and Vindelälven is only permitted for fishing right owners.

Fishing season:
Peaceful fishing.
Completely protected fishing shall prevail in Manjaurån
1/1 - 31/5 and 16/8 - 31/12 in the same year.
25/4-31/5 there is a fishing ban in the Vindelälven and Åman from Noret to the outlet in the Vindelälven.

Sports fishing, nets, nets.
Fishing from a boat or other floating device:
Allowed in all waters unless otherwise stated.
Netting is prohibited all year round in the following waters:
Västra Skärträsken, Vintertjärn, Långtjärn, Gröntjärn, Vittjärn, Sikträskån, Manjaurån, Noret to the outlet in Vindelälven and Idtjärn. Net ban also applies to non-fishing right owners in Åmträsket, Östersjö and Djupsundsjön.

Catch Limits:
Minimum size of fish caught with hand gear
Grayling 40 cm
Trout 40 cm

Other rules:
Fishing is also completely prohibited in all other tributaries to Åman.
Examples include Månsträskån, Joppbäcken, Sävsjöbäcken, Petmyrbäcken, Storbäcken and others.

Owners of fishing rights all days of the week and conditions as above and a maximum of one fish of legal size per day. Valid annual pass and 50: - /day

24-hour card: SEK 75/day
Maximum three (3) fish / fishing opportunity.
Floating allowed.


Fishing from a boat is prohibited in the following waters: Idtjärn, Gröntjärn
An inspection fee of SEK 1,500 may be charged if the rules are violated.
