Generally

NOTE, the river is only allowed on the 2nd Saturday in June at 6pm until 15th August.
Fishing without a fishing license is strictly prohibited.
Fishing near the bergnäs dam is prohibited, the stretch between the foot of the bergnäs dam 100 meters upstream and 100 meters downstream is all fishing prohibited.
This border is marked, see map. Downstream of these markings, it is permitted to fish, with the exception of the mill stream.

Fishing season
Fishing Between August 16 and the second Saturday in June at 6 p.m., fishing is only allowed in the lakes.
The stretch between Bergnäsdam and the river's outlet in Lake Naustajaure is open for sport fishing from the second Saturday in June until August 15.

Methods
All angling with live or dead bait, even worms, is prohibited.
In the Bergnäsälven, fishing with nets and seine is prohibited.

Catch Limits
Regardless of which cards or how many cards are purchased, a maximum of 1 trout per day may be withdrawn.

Trout 45 cm
Grayling 30 cm
